Since I started this candle making journey over a year ago, I’ve only use soy or soy blend (with paraffin) waxes. Today is my first time trying “Coconut Apricot” wax. The wicks I bought to try the wax were a disaster. I don’t like the HPSP wicks at all. They are of poor quality. So, long story short, I had to transfer the wax from my matte black Ziva to my gold Zen (the vessels are both used for testing. I kept the HPSP in the mason jar (gently touching the wick so it didn’t break). I had to use two CD wicks in the Zen. Can’t wait for these to cure for 2 weeks so I can test them.
