Reason

One of the reasons I decided to resign from public service to become a stay-at-home Mom. Five years ago yesterday, January 7, 2020, we were in Children’s Hospital with Bria. My Mom was at home sick 🤒. It was a lot going on and I made the decision, after discussing it with my husband, to resign and focus on my family. Not knowing that a few weeks later my Mom would transition🥲, a pandemic was on the horizon😒, and she would be diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder🥺. One thing I know for certain is life still goes on. It’s not easy either. Time does not heal all wounds. We just learn how to deal with the trauma. #KeepPushing #Resilience #MyLilHero
