I haven’t made soy blend candles since the summer of 2020. I ordered the Miraca tins and tested it 4 times with soy wax 464. I tried three and four wicks as well as different size wicks. Every process the full melt pool occured too fast for me so I decided not to sell them. However, my oldest niece suggested that I use the Miraca’s for outside and make bug resistant candles. This lavender and citronella, soy blend (paraffin & soy) IGI6006, is lovely! The cure time is shorter, the hot throw is great and I think it’s perfect for the warmer months to keep the pesky bugs away! All candles need to be placed on a non-flammable, sturdy surface. I am also creating my own warning labels for these candles.
