January is really my challenging month😔. My family and I get through it together. Bria had her annual MRI yesterday to check her spinal cord. It took more than six hours however I'm glad it's over. I'm also happy that my husband and I were allowed to go be by her side this year. Next appointment is with the neurologist after the photos are reviewed. Bringing awareness to the rare neurological disorder known as Tethered Cord Syndrome is part of my "Why"...& not knowing if your spinal cord is tethered can cause irreversible damage. The earlier it's detected, the better.🦒 I can't thank Children's National Hospital enough for their dedicated and professional staff.
