A Little Background

So I wrote “The Beautiful Brown Rainbow” poem many years ago in 2010. It was my first time writing a poem. A shooting happened in Southeast, Washington DC that some named “The South Capitol Street Massacre”. I didn’t know any of the victims personally; however, it definitely affected me. Senseless violence is never okay!!! I wrote this from my heart. Finally submitted it for copyright a few years ago. So it’s my first official poem. 🤎🤎🤎
